Yorkshire Terrier
Don't be fooled by the silk topknot, underneath it I've got the instincts of a dockworker and the grudges to match. Rat-hunting is in my blood, not decoration, though I do decoration extremely well too. The bow is not a personality indicator.
My coat looks like it costs more than it does and my attitude costs more than it should. I'll pick a fight with a dog four times my size and expect you to be proud of me for it. I'm, technically, a working terrier in a very convincing disguise.
My teeth crowd fast in a mouth this small, so dental care is a real ongoing cost, not an occasional one. My joints need care too as I get older. Also, please don't buy into any 'teacup' marketing, it's a red flag dressed up as a selling point.
You find the contrast funny rather than confusing, the bow and the attitude are both real. You budget properly for grooming and dental work rather than treating them as optional extras. And you don't underestimate me just because I fit in a bag.
Hunting rats in mineshafts and clothing mills was the original assignment. I've genuinely never seen a mineshaft in my life. I remain fully prepared regardless.
Swipe right. I'm polished, scrappy, and not nearly as delicate as I look.
