Shetland Sheepdog
Someone who gives me an actual job, agility, obedience, herding balls around the living room, anything with structure. I want purpose more than I want belly rubs, though I'll accept both. Idle paws get anxious fast around here.
I've got collie smarts in a smaller package and a genuine need to feel useful. I herd anything that moves if nobody stops me, kids, other pets, the vacuum. My bark is basically a work memo, frequent and detailed.
I'm sensitive and can get anxious without a routine or real mental stimulation, this isn't drama, it's a real breed trait. I shed heavily too, brushing several times a week keeps it manageable. The eagerness to work needs an actual outlet or it turns into stress.
You give me structure, training, agility, something with rules and a clear goal. You commit to regular brushing given how much I shed. And you take my anxiety seriously instead of just calling me dramatic.
I'm smart enough to learn commands almost as fast as you can think them up. I've, on occasion, learned the wrong lesson entirely and committed to it anyway.
Swipe right. I'm clever, earnest, and desperately looking for something useful to do.
