Maltipoo

I don't need consistency in the coat department and neither should you, I might look like a teddy bear this month and a mop by the next groom. My personality is equally mixed, sweet and a little unserious, often within the same five minutes. Take the whole unpredictable package.

I got my Maltese side's devotion and my Poodle side's cleverness, and nobody's entirely sure what I did with the rest. I'm silly in a way that feels intentional even when it isn't. I've never once had an identity crisis about it, you're welcome to have one on my behalf.

Skip a brushing session and I turn into a knotted mess within days, I'm one of the higher-maintenance grooming jobs in this whole batch. I can also get clingy fast and don't love being left alone for long stretches. Worth the admin, allegedly.

You're not precious about which parent breed shows up on a given day, looks or temperament. You keep a grooming schedule and stick to it, loosely, like a New Year's resolution you actually kept. And you're around enough that I don't have to stage a small protest about it.

I've been mistaken for at least four different breeds by strangers in the same week. I let all four assumptions stand. Mystery is part of my brand.
