Card 40 of 40
Tibetan Spaniel
I'd rather observe quietly than engage constantly, watching and reporting, not confronting, is simply how I'm made. I want a perch, a good view, and someone who trusts my judgment about who's approaching. I notice everything, I just don't make a scene about it.
I've got a calm, watchful energy that comes from generations of literally sitting on monastery walls as lookout. I groom myself with genuine care, almost cat-like in the ritual. I observe first, react rarely, and I'm usually right.
My eyes need regular checking given my face shape, and heatstroke is a real risk so walks stay to the cooler hours. I can be independent to the point of aloofness, so don't expect constant affection on demand. The watchfulness is a lifestyle, not a phase.
You appreciate quiet observation over constant noise, I'm a lookout, not an alarm system. You keep an eye on my eyes and manage the heat carefully. And you trust that when I finally react to something, it's actually worth reacting to.
Monasteries reportedly used my ancestors as an early warning system, perched high, watching the road. I've never once lowered my standards for what counts as suspicious.
Swipe right. I'm watchful, composed, and quietly always one step ahead.
