Kensington Square corner unit on Jalan Lokam; quieter than the Upper Serangoon Road strip, mostly walk-in from the condos around.

What this clinic is specifically known for is Furrytails Veterinary Clinic; routine care with longer consult slots in the Kensington pocket. The team is small team. At the consultation, ask what the findings mean, which options are available and what should prompt a follow-up.

On hours and scope: Mon-Fri 9.30am - 12pm, 2:00 - 5pm, 6:00 - 8pm; Sat-Sun 9.30am - 12pm, 2:00 - 5pm. This is a routine practice. For middle-of-the-night emergencies (collapse, bloat, suspected poisoning, anything that needs a CT scanner before sunrise), the call is to one of the 24-hour A&E hospitals on the emergency list, not here. For everything else (vaccination planning, sterilisation, the lump you noticed at the weekend, health changes in an older dog), this is the kind of practice that earns long-term trust.

Who this clinic suits: Serangoon, Upper Paya Lebar, and Kovan owners. Ask whether an appointment is required, request an itemised estimate, and confirm any insurance paperwork or direct-billing arrangements before booking. The address is Kensington Square, 2 Jln Lokam, #01-13/14, Singapore 537846, and the booking line is +65 6214 9092.

The small thing nobody mentions: Kensington Square has its own basement carpark; pay at the auto-pay machine before walking back to the car.

Brought our dog Maia to Furrytails Vet for enucleation and I honestly couldn’t be more thankful for how well they took care of her. The doctor was so detailed and took the time to explain everything from what to expect before the surgery to her aftercare. The nurses and staff were just as amazing. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals they treat. Maia was in good hands from start to finish, and it made a stressful situation feel so much more manageable. She’s now home and recovering well, and we’re so relieved and grateful. Big thanks to the team we really appreciate you all!

I recently took my dogs Eevee, Coco and Riri, for consultations with Dr. Chan and Dr. Tano and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Both veterinarians exhibited exceptional professionalism throughout our visit. They took the time to listen to my concerns and provided thoughtful, precise answers that really put my mind at ease. What stood out the most was their calm demeanor. They handled all of them with such care and gentleness, ensuring that my doggos felt comfortable and safe during the consultations and surgeries. Their knowledge and expertise were evident as they conducted thorough examinations and explained everything clearly. I highly recommend Dr. Chan and Dr. Tano for anyone looking for compassionate and professional care for their pets.

Dr. Chan is a kind-hearted and dedicated vet who truly loves our maltipoo. As first-time owners, his patience and clear guidance have been a great help. He never rushes during consultations, is always thorough in his examinations, and only recommends what we truly needed for our dog. His team is also helpful and supportive, always doing their best to accommodate our enquiries. We’re very grateful for the genuine care Dr Chan and team show for our maltipoo🫶

How this clinic compares nearby

The things that decide where you actually drive are whether they can see you now, whether they take walk-ins, and whether the tests can be run on site instead of sent away. Here is Furrytails Veterinary Clinic against its closest neighbours on exactly that.

  • A&E means the clinic is set up for accident and emergency, not just consults.
  • In-house lab and imaging means bloods and X-rays happen in the building, so you get an answer the same visit.
  • Price band is a relative guide, not a quoted fee. Ask the clinic for the current consultation price before you travel.
