Choose an open approach to East Coast Park before travelling with your dog. NParks currently lists works affecting the Area C1 dog run until 6 November 2026, the Carpark C1 footpath until 31 October and the Carpark C4 footpath until 21 November. A section of Area D footpath is also closed until 30 November. These are stated works periods, not verified reopening dates. Check the current notices and barriers before each visit.
NParks lists East Coast Park among its pet-friendly parks. Keep your dog leashed on permitted open paths and observe local exclusions. The park also warns of jellyfish sightings. This listing does not verify dog swimming or current water safety. Bring drinking water, choose a manageable return route and change your plan if weather or your dog makes it unsuitable.
