Card 20 of 40
Boston Terrier
Someone who appreciates that I dress formally every single day without trying. I'm sportier than my flat face suggests, I actually want to run and play, not just nap decoratively. Keep up or hold my leash while I show you how it's done.
My markings look tailored, black and white in exactly the right places, like I hired a stylist. I'm friendly with strangers, gentle with kids, and genuinely easy to train. The gentleman reputation is earned, mostly.
I still run hot in this climate despite being less extreme than some flat-faced breeds, so midday walks are a bad idea and heatstroke is a real risk. My eyes protrude slightly too, so scratches and injuries need quick attention. The tuxedo doesn't come with climate control.
You want an actually active companion, not just a lap decoration, I like real walks and real play. You respect the heat limits even though I look tougher than I am. And you appreciate a dog who looks put together at all times, unlike your laundry situation.
I was bred in actual Boston in the eighteen hundreds, which makes me more American than most people's family history. I've never once been to Massachusetts.
Swipe right. I'm dapper, sporty, and better dressed than you on your best day.
