Happy-Dog Training
Happy-Dog Training lists puppy socialisation, private obedience, board and train, intensive obedience, reactive or fearful dog support, separation-anxiety work and K9 nosework. These are different formats and should be compared on their suitability for your dog, not treated as interchangeable packages.
Its founder Mark reports CPDT-KA and AVS accreditation. APDT is described as a membership, so it is no longer presented as a separate assessed certification. The website describes humane, science-based methods; ask specifically about equipment and what the trainer does when a dog is frightened or unable to perform. Confirm any advertised ongoing support and its conditions in writing.
Before you book
Share your dog's age, current challenges, health or mobility needs and any bite history privately with the provider. Request a written quote covering session length, group size or individual format, location, equipment, follow-up support and cancellation terms. Confirm eligibility and any vaccination requirements directly. Sudden changes in behaviour warrant veterinary advice, not simply a training package.
