Plan a visit with your pack

Plain Vanilla’s Tiong Bahru flagship is at 1D Yong Siak Street, with an alfresco area beside its bakery, brunch menu and homeware shelves. Specialist pet directories report dogs at the outdoor tables. It is a pleasant option for coffee during a neighbourhood stroll, with your dog settled beside you, rather than a place for off-leash play. There are no table reservations. The operator lists daily opening from 7.30am to 7pm, with hot-food orders ending at 3.50pm. Allow for a wait or another plan if the outdoor section is full. The earlier listing’s exact table count, 20kg practical limit and predictable quiet periods were not supported; ask about space for your own dog. The brand began in Holland Village, not at this flagship. Nearby food-centre seating is not an alternative pet dining area. Published sources describe dogs at outdoor tables. Confirm the available pet table with the branch; cat admission and carrier conditions remain unconfirmed. Bring your own water and bowl unless an amenity is explicitly confirmed. Choose a table that leaves the walkway clear and keep your dog with you; an outdoor table is not an off-leash play area.

Nice alfresco pet-friendly area with a sizeable number of of seats available. This is in addition to the huge indoor air-conditioned space within which is only human friendly. We enjoyed the ham and cheese tart and cinnamon sugar cupcake. The pastry for the tart was the right balance of crisp and softness while the cinnamon icing tasted like Christmas. The drinks, however, tasted diluted to me and nowhere near a quality cup of chai or mocha respectively. Will return for the deli!

Had a wonderful breakfast here! Got the goat cheese, mushroom, and leek tart, which was fantastic! My partner had the scrambled eggs on toast said they were the best eggs I’ve ever had. We loved the drinks as well! Great atmosphere

  2. Very pleasant atmosphere with aircon or non aircon seatings. Stepping into the cafe, on the right with shelves of souvenirs and handicrafts. QR code menu on each table that has lists of coffee, non-coffee, freshly-baked confectionery, etc. Further into the cafe is another vibe with nice and peaceful decorations. Known for its muffin, a selection of sweet treats available. For meal, had the rosti with smoke salmon. Far from the best I had but not any near to average. Worth the try though. Ice matcha latte not too sweet and strong matcha taste. Ice americano not too bad too. A very nice indeed for all day or coffee breaks.

Plain Vanilla in Tiong Bahru has a chill vibe. We dined indoor and stayed for quite some time. The staff were all accomodating and nice. The foods we ordered are delicious.
