Plan a visit with your pack

Birds of Paradise Katong is the botanical gelato boutique at 63 East Coast Road, #01-05. This is the Katong boutique; pet arrangements at another branch cannot be transferred to this shop. The operator’s branch directory lists noon to 10pm Sunday to Thursday and noon to 10:30pm Friday and Saturday. Ask the branch about current dog admission and where you can wait or eat before bringing your dog; a takeaway shop is not necessarily a place to sit together. Do not rely on an unconfirmed terrace or water service. If one person collects an order while another stays with the dog, agree a permitted, safe waiting location rather than blocking a doorway. Keep the gelato for people.

Pet access and visit planning

The operator confirms this branch’s address and service hours, but its boutique directory and FAQ do not establish visiting dogs or cats, an outdoor pet terrace, shade or water bowls. Earlier descriptions of generous pet seating are unsupported. This is the Katong boutique; pet arrangements at another branch cannot be transferred to this shop.

Permitted area: Gelato boutique; pet admission and outdoor seating unresolved.

We really enjoyed the botanical-inspired flavors here; you can tell they use high-quality, natural ingredients. The signature thyme cone is a game-changer and smells amazing. It’s easily some of the best gelato in Singapore-fresh, light, and not too sweet. A perfect treat to cool down after a day of exploring!

Great customer service, it was my first time there and the staff kindly informed us that there was free tasting available. With that we were able to try out different flavours and select the flavour that suit our fancy. Highly recommend getting the Valrhona Sea Salt Cookies and Cream if you get the chance as it’s a Christmas special, i loved the balance between sweet and salty. It also has little chunks of oreo bits which added a nice texture. Cone became soggy quickly tho as the ice cream melted pretty quickly on this sunday afternoon.

kind and polite staff with fast efficiency, got to try different flavour before ordering too :) Several flavours to choose from and the thyme cone is very flavourful! The choc sorbet I've ordered is just nice! It isn't too heavy/powerful and still have that rich choc taste
