BW Monastery’s 9 August report confirms that its Pet and Animal Plushie Blessing Puja took place on 8 August 2026. The programme included pet-vendor booths, craft activities and prayers; animal plushies were welcomed alongside living pets. That offered a way to participate without bringing an animal.
This is now a past event. The report does not establish our earlier claim of a reliably quiet, air-conditioned outing or a universal ticket price. A future edition needs its own registration and animal-entry instructions. A religious blessing is not a veterinary treatment.
Tips for bringing your dog
Check the edition-specific dog-entry policy, tickets and permitted areas. Arrange transport that accepts your dog; ordinary pets cannot use MRT trains or public buses.
