Lantern displays, performances and festive food bring Mid-Autumn to Gardens by the Bay from 12 to 27 September, 6pm to 10pm. Plan around the outdoor areas your dog can enter, rather than assuming every festival attraction admits pets.

Before you go
What to expect
The programme spans Golden Garden, Supertree Grove and Bayfront Plaza, with lanterns, food and carnival activities. Individual craft sessions and performances have their own schedules. Check the official programme for the evening you choose.
Admission and extras
Festival admission is free. Food, carnival games and selected activities cost extra; admission to other Gardens attractions is a separate matter. Free festival entry is not confirmation that dogs can enter every attraction.
Before setting off
The organiser says wet weather can cancel performances and only battery-operated lanterns are allowed. Confirm the dog-access route with the Gardens, then choose a shorter visit with an easy exit.
UDO’s take
The lanterns will still be lovely if we skip the busiest bit. Keep a little space around your dog and let their comfort decide how much you see.
