About Ash
Ash spent his first two years in a shelter, waiting for someone to look twice while the visitors all walked past to the puppies. Hafiz looked twice. Five years on, the two of them have walked most of the green corridor on the western side of the island, and honestly there is not a tree in Bukit Timah Nature Reserve he has not sniffed. He is calm in a way you cannot rush into a dog, it only comes with years. Steady on the lead, gentle with children, quietly devoted. The shelter staff thought he might never settle. there wrong about that one.
Quirks
- Freezes mid-walk to watch birds and cannot be reasoned with until they leave.
